CARES Act Funds
Available to Students
What are the details?
Under the CARES Act, all schools that participate in the federal student aid programs have been allocated funds to make emergency grants to students for expenses related to the disruption of campus operations due to coronavirus (COVID-19) such as food, housing, course materials, technology, health care, and child care.
How can i get the funds?
Schools have a certain amount of discretion to decide the criteria for receiving a grant, the grant amount, and how and when the grant will be paid to students. Contact your school to see if you're eligible. Students cannot apply for assistance through the U.S. Department of Education.
